Femoral broach holder, or femoral broach impactor, or also called femoral rasp handle, is a surgical instrument used in orthopedic surgeries, particularly during hip replacement procedures. It is designed to securely hold and guide femoral broaches, which are cutting tools used to shape the femur (thigh bone) to accommodate a prosthetic femoral component during hip replacement surgery. The femoral broach holder aids the surgeon in properly positioning and manipulating the broaches for precise bone preparation.
